KING KUNTA (2016) - Open Edition Print

Inspired by the 2015 Kendrick Lamar song “King Kunta”. The song explores the complexities of the fictional character Kunta Kinte from the Alex Haley film Roots. The silhouette of this painting was shaped around Kendrick Lamar but reimagined draped in royal garb.
